An intelligent HR Assistant was built leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Power Apps, and Power Automate, accessible directly within Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Employees can now converse with the agent in natural language to ask immediate questions about company policies, check their live annual leave balance, and submit holiday requests on the fly. Submitting a request automatically triggers an automated Power Automate workflow to route the request to their manager for approval, updating leave records seamlessly once approved

The solution eliminated repetitive admin tasks for HR while giving employees instant, 24/7 access to leave balances and policy guidance inside the tools they already use every day. By unifying policy Q&A, leave tracking, and manager approvals into a single, conversational interface, the company sped up time-off approvals, reduced operational friction, and boosted overall employee engagement without needing expensive third-party HR platforms.
